PSIDON is looking for initial investment to bring our PSIDON Assistant product to market. To do this we are seeking £350K of funding
- Develop the SaaS platform to true MVP level for boat user and server sides of the platform
- Build the PSIDON engine to allow bespoke maintenance suggestions
- GTM marketing in initial launch region, US NE coastal marinas
From there we will be looking to raise further tranches of funding to roll out the product throughout the US and develop the PSIDON datalogger and incorporate it into the PSIDON ecosystem
Our business model looks to generate sticky revenue from a customer base that has a proven appetite for subscription systems. From our review of competing offerings, we believe there is a big gap in the market for a product that genuinely meets the recreational boat owner’s requirements. Many of the offerings are over complicated and replicate capabilities that are covered by most boat’s onboard systems. Therefore, by carefully identifying the “jobs to done” in a tiered subscription service pricing structure there an opportunity to establish a strong foothold in the market at an operational level. With the commission structure being put in place we gain revenue from both sides of platform.
Longer term we will establish our marketplace which opens up access to a further billion dollar market, with our platform making boat sales more reliable and safe for both buyer and sellers.
Given the size of the market, a more technology accepting user base and the opportunities presented by AI and BlockChain, now is the time to bring the marine recreational market into the modern world.
